Geriatric Inpatient Services
For some older adults, a mental health disorder can become severe enough that they may require around-the-clock care at a live-in behavioral healthcare facility. Southeast Behavioral Hospital provides a geriatric inpatient program to help these individuals stabilize from their acute condition so they may return home as soon as possible and enjoy their life to the fullest.
If an older adult patient feels that they may benefit from continued care, we offer a partial hospitalization program and an intensive outpatient program they may participate in after completing the inpatient program. To determine the right level of care for a patient, they receive a no-cost assessment at the time of admission.
